Is it Okay to Use an HDTV as a Computer Monitor?

Life Hacker: I've been debating between buying a new computer monitor or an HDTV to use with my PC. Since large monitors (say about 27 inches) are close to the prices of a decent sized HDTV (say 32 inches or smaller) which would you go with?

Might be yes...But i will not use for my personal use.Because HDTV monitor have strong color resolution which is not good geeks

I prefer my monitor over the gigantic LED tv I have now. Easier to focus on a smaller screen, but if I ever want to entertain it is always nice to set up the PC to the tv for movies, pictures, movies, etc on the LED tv.
