Gone Google? Got Concerns? We Have Alternatives

Microsoft Official Blog: "During the last week or so, there has been a fair amount of discussion about how Google is making some unpopular changes to some of its most popular products. You can see some of the concerns and worries about lack of choice and so on in these links.

When we read the coverage last week, it was clear people were honestly wrestling with the choices that had been made for them and were looking for options or alternatives."

"The Official Microsoft Blog"
I couldn't click out of there fast enough.

Okay, I'll have a look....

"Bing: The search engine that gives you great experiences using the whole Web"
-
LOL, good one, Microsoft. The whole web expect the stuff you censor that says bad things about YOU. I can get to this article through google, but chances are, I wouldn't get to such an article about Microsoft through Bing.

"Internet Explorer: The world’s most popular browser, now with Tracking Protection, offering controls over your privacy as you browse"
-
The most exploited browser on the planet is the choice for privacy? HAR HAR HAR

Let me ask any and all who are this angry and fearful of Google's new policy.....do you have any apps on your cell phone? Free ones, especially? Then, SURPRISE! You're probably already getting the same treatment! Those apps can list some SERIOUS access to your phone.

Google is making a MASSIVE effort to make things transparent and get the word out well ahead of time. And Microsoft is taking advantage of that.

And of course Microsoft doesn't need to make money off of information. Services like Bing couldn't be much more commercialized.

True, but I stopped using Google back when they turned search records over to the feds without a search warrant, bout a decade ago.
