"On Tuesday night, Dell's Alienware division announced a foray into a small-form-factor PC, the console-like Alienware X51.
And the base price is very un-Alienware-like, too: $699, although processor and graphics-cards options will boost that price. Alienware's cheapest gaming laptop, the M11x, costs $699, while the Aurora desktop costs over $2,100."
VRFocus: Alienware, a subsidiary of Dell, has today launched the official pre-order campaign for its line of ‘Oculus Ready’ PCs. Itself billing the machines as ‘VR Capable’, Alienware has two systems in the range at present based on Intel i5 and Intel i7 processors.

Maximum PC: It was three years ago to the day that we posted our review of Dell's Alienware X51 PC game console to the website, which we called "impressively powerful for its size." That was true at the time, though in the fast moving world of technology, the system's Core i5-2320 CPU paired with a GeForce GTX 555 graphics card is nothing to get excited over today.
