Priced at $250 it’s a pretty hard sell but if you’re trying to get satellite on the go or in your home, this may be an interesting alternative device. The device runs an unnamed version of Android."
WG - Hey now! It looks like Sirius XM’s Android-powered Lynx satellite radio just hit the FCC sans casing. What you see above is the Lynx’ main board, giving us a good look at the device’s STMicro processor, Samsung SDRAM and Flash memory, and microSD card slot. It also looks like the Lynx’ interface will use Immersion technology, possibly providing haptic feedback to touch inputs.
Engadget - It's since been removed, but a listing for the tidy little package you see above was on Best Buy's website long enough this week to provide most of the details on Sirius XM's still-unannounced Lynx satellite radio receiver. As you can see, it relies on a touchscreen interface for the most part and, even more interestingly, it apparently runs some sort of custom version of Android -- although we wouldn't recommend getting your hopes up about Android Marketplace access or the like.
