AMD is planning to enter the RAM market with Radeon-branded modules targeting the whole range of computing categories.
Whatever you have to do to keep the share-holders happy. The only thing they are missing now is Motherboard.
I think these are pretty pointless when there are established brands like Corsair and Mushkin on the market. Why would anyone want to buy AMD RAM?
I agree whole-heartedly with you. But I'm sure they did some type of market research before hand. There are some people that will think they will get better performance if they are able to buy all the same brand. I, for one, stick with Gskill.
