According to comScore, the mobile platform from Google has continued its market share rise in the U.S. smartphone space for the third quarter of the year, accounting for 44.8 percent market share for the July to September quarter. This is an increase of 4.6 percentage points from its 40.2 percent share in the U.S. market for the April to May quarter of this year.
