PC World: Upgrading your computer can be easy enough for most people. But it's not without its pitfalls. Here are five common upgrade mistakes that even experienced users make.
Great Article, bookmarked it in hope that someday i'll be able to build a RIG myself.
You mean you don't have one yet? :O You can build yourself a budget rig for very cheap nowadays that will handle almost everything you need it for.
Yes, i know it's a shame that i don't have a Gaming rig yet, but i have tried several times to Build 1, it's just that Prices here are Crazy almost 150% more than the actual market Price. I desperately want to move on from Consoles, I even have saved up $1300 by putting aside $200 each month from Paycheck, but i just won't Pay Twice the price to these Blood Sucking B**t**ds here. Though i will be visiting USA again in March (Medical Reasons) & on my trip i'll be picking up all the Components to build a RIG.
Currently Hard drives are in a shortage so they are going for much higher prices, around two times as much as usual and they are going to be in short supply for a while. Also the next series of graphic cards and i think Intels new CPUs will be out in the first half of 2012 which should be a decent jump in performance, so if your able to wait you might want to.
A nice guide for pc modders like me. I'll save this for my future references.
