Yes but they usually have premium options to buy credit for the game good ol micro transactions.

Free for limited options. You have to end up paying to get the rest of the game. Most of the times, trying to achieve unlocks are impossible which force users for fork up cash for coins.

"Gamers"? I would disagree, i would say it has more people who play games. They are not the kind of people that read reviews, follow developers of their favorite game along the way, watching the various trade shows just to catch a glimpse.
