What a year Sony Ericsson has had so far. In January it announced the super-slim Xperia arc, followed by a number of variants in February and the Xperia ray in the summer.
Throw in the 'mini' models, plus a rugged model coming soon, and Sony Ericsson is very much back in business, with Android at the fore.
Vantage writes - We’ve already tested the Sony Ericsson Arc and Mini Pro, so it would be rude not to try the third of their big offerings from last year, the Xperia Ray. The first thing you’ll notice about the Ray is its small form factor, at least when considered against the majority of new smartphones.
Pocket-Lint: While Apple wheeled out its new CEO Tim Cook in a pressed black shirt for its iPhone 4S unveiling, Sony Ericsson has been far more naughty with the launch of the Xperia ray. It has snapped gorgeous model (and Mrs Doctor Who) Daisy Lowe in her knickers, stockings and suspenders playing with the new handset, in order to show her, ahem, its features.
Pocket-Lint: Small phones seem to have gone out of fashion. A few years ago, before the iPhone, manufacturers were falling over themselves to miniaturise their handsets. Now though, smartphones are all the rage, and with that comes the need for ever larger screens.
For a second I thought this was the Xperia "Play"
that looks really fine, I might buy one for myself looking at the cool features and all. Man, it's gettin really hard deciding between phones these days, with iphone5 on the verge of release and android phones and now this.
