Microsoft Allegedly Pays At Least £1m to Female Executive to Step Aside

Gadgehit writes: "Microsoft is alleged to have paid a top female executive in the UK £1 million to step aside. Natalie Ayres, who has been with the company for 15 years was favourite to become managing director of Microsoft UK after the position was left vacant in 2006. The job was however given to Gordon Frazer, a general manager at Microsoft South Africa, before Mrs Ayres had even completed the interview process."
