Blackberry Playbook Sales Disappointing

esearch in Motion (RIM)’s answer to the Apple iPad, the Blackberry Playbook might not have been as successful as investors, the manufacturer and even users thought it might be. With slightly less than half a million sales in the previous quarter, the results were not quite up to the mark and it seemed as though the manufacturer had quite high expectations.

RIM should lower the price of their Playbook, into an affordable price. The 16gb at $200, could be a good price point. No one wants to buy a tabled over $300. Seems too much.

Facebook and BlackBerry are heading to court over voice messaging patents

There’s a new battle commencing between Facebook and BlackBerry. On Tuesday, the social network sued the phone maker over alleged infringement of six patents. Of these, one is related to a voice message feature in BBM Enterprise.
