Dell Launching Smartphones and Tablets in China

Gadgehit writes: "Dell has announced that it is partnering with Chinese search giant, Baidu, in order to launch tablet computers and smartphones in China. The move comes as Baidu readies a release of a new mobile operating system, as well as very recently announcing a new Android-based suite of tools called Yi! which allow developers to easily port their existing Android apps to the Baidu mobile OS."

so this could get interesting. a new os in the mobile market could potentially throw things into chaos. but i would never trust a Chinese os. way back they used to put viruses and key loggers in their digital products and firmwares.
