Video game accessory maker PDP will be producing limited edition hardware for Activision's upcoming shooter title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. PDP is readying the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Collector's Edition Wireless Controller for the PlayStation 3 as well as the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Chat Headset for Wii.
CCG writes - "As great as wireless controllers are, there is something to be said for ones with wires - they usually just work. There's little worse than having a controller die in the middle of an intense game. It also helps that they are usually much less expensive to make, and therefore buy. Enter PDP's Afterglow Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controller for Nintendo Switch."
CCG writes - "The PDP Deluxe Travel Case is a very well-designed case made for the purpose of carrying a Nintendo Switch (or Switch Lite) on everyday excursions. As a result, it is very spacious, and it has a handle attached on one side with the ability to snap off on the other, so that it can be attached to other bags if need be."
CCG Writes - "At $49.99, this PDP Afterglow Wireless Deluxe Controller is significantly less money than Nintendo's offering, and it's almost as good. The main drawbacks are the lack of Amiibo support (no big deal) and the lack of HD Rumble (kind of a big deal). Lack of rumble is a shame, and seems to be common in third-party controllers in part as a cost-cutting measure. Despite this, not every game supports rumble as it is, and Switch Lite owners won't miss it, since that console doesn't even support rumble on the console itself. Nevertheless, it's a notable omission."
