SIGGRAPH 2011: Adobe and nVidia Testing the 3D Application Market? [Video]

Gadgehit writes: "It looks like Adobe wants to try and give Autodesk a run for its money, as it has partnered with nVidia and is testing out 3D rendering techniques at SIGGRAPH 2011. There’s only a demo at the moment, and nothing has been confirmed for release by Adobe yet, but it would be interesting to see Adobe make some strides in the 3D market, which is pretty much dominated by Autodesk." I've been hoping that Adobe gets into the 3D market properly, they've got a few photoshop plugins, but if they made a dedicated 3D app, it would easily rival Autodesk.
