Engadget - The good folks over at Skype have been mighty busy recently. In the last month (give or take a day) the company has announced integration with Facebook, launched a new version of its Windows client to support the social network, released an iPad-optimized version, and expanded Android support to an additional 17 handsets.
It's still limited in scope
New update lets you have a video call without having a Skype account. You can start a chat through a link and can use it at any time as it does not expire.
With the sudden upswing of video conferencing needs due to working from home, Microsoft has decided to add a new feature to Skype.
