More Americans Are On Facebook Than Have A Passport

Wired: I am posting the most massive infographic I have ever seen: “The Social Travel Revolution” brought to you by the folks at still-in-beta travel startup Tripl.

Most shocking statistic: 50% of all Americans are on Facebook (155 million) while only 37% of Americans have a passport (115 million). To its credit, the Facebook onboarding process is a lot more streamlined.

hahaaha the U.S. is fun toaster, each state is like a different place so you can travel around. Canada and mexico are fun but really traveling out of the us is more than a hassle than its worth.

there's a lot of interesting stats in the infographic that can catch the interest of a lot of users.

the stats are 3/4ths about social networks and their use.

social networks have interest on techspy so its news.

cant wait to see the update with google+ numbers in a year or so.
