LG CEO, Kwon Young-soo, recently announced the company’s second quarter results. Kwon has also told reporters the company will no longer be producing smaller versions of the OLED (organic light-emitting diode) TV’s. They will also no longer pursue mobile production of this type. Kwon says: “We will make no more investment in the sector, judging that the OLED business is relatively less profitable than other products in the mobile sector.”
