How did this get approved? Title needs the website name in it, also you need to quote the author if you are going to copy and paste from the article itself.

id get a better videocard but overall decent specs.

double the ram too.

Wuu4690d ago

This is worst build you can get for this money.

fatstarr4690d ago (Edited 4690d ago )

its decent man lol, it can run all of the games out today its not worth $1100 and part selection is not the best but it is decent.

id have 2 gpus, 6gb of ram a ssd os and a nice 2tb storage space. 1200 watt psu, the cpu can be messed with for better results, and id have some cooling in it too

8 gigs of 1600 ripjaws is enough, imo. with sandybridge, OC'ed to 3.3-4.2 on AIR (great chips)

I'd go with 1 GPU if we're trying to cut costs, best bang for the buck, imo, since I tend to side with Nvidia,

Ram - 8gig 1600 Ripjaws - 79$

CPU - Intel Core i7 2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz $314.00

GPU - GTX 480 "pick your poison" $300.00 (go lower with an AMD Card with similar performance)

Board - ASUS SABERTOOTH P67 Rev 3.0 $209.00

HD - Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 89$

Their case and other stuff put this around the same price range as theirs, maybe slightly more, but overall, this setup will eat theirs for breakfast and ask for 2nds.

You didn't include windows 7.

Harouls4690d ago

Hm, am I missing something?
mATX case, ATX motherboard.

BioDemon-4690d ago

Lol, this build is horrible. It's like a child stumbled onto newegg and picked random parts.

3gb of ram? what is this year 2000

sjaakiejj4690d ago

3-4GB RAM is more then enough for any application. Going any higher might even have a negative effect on performance.

Besides, can you think of any game that needs 8 Gigabytes of RAM? That would seriously alienate any normal players.

thehitman4690d ago

Your pretty misinformed 3-4GB barely get you anywhere nowadays. 4gig is bare minimum optimum is 5-6gigs.

DeadlyFire4690d ago

3-4 is good enough. 2 is bare minimum. It is shifting towards 4 GB, but I play most all of my games with my PC on 3 GB or so of RAM just fine.

Speed-Racer4690d ago

Most games these days require minimum 2GB and 4-6GB recommended RAM. Remember that the x64 era is now among us so limited RAM is no longer a question.

tordavis4689d ago

If you don't think 3gb is enough for a budget gaming system, you know nothing about computers or games.

tawak4689d ago

agreed, unless they are playing angry bird and plants vs zombies..there might even some hiccup..lolx
