Engadget: ASUS' official Android 3.1 update should be coming soon enough, but Eee Pad Transformer users that just can't wait now have another option at their disposal. A seemingly final version of the update leaked out over the weekend and, by all accounts, it appears to work just fine.
Electronista - Slightly later than first thought, Acer on Wednesday began rolling out the Android 3.1 upgrade for the Iconia Tab A500. The push brings all the features shown at Google I/O, such as a deeper multitasking system, resizable widgets, and support for USB host devices like cameras. Quirks have also been ironed out, such as respecting the orientation lock when the tablet is at the lock screen.
Engadget - Nothing like a little software update to get the weekend started right... right? Just days after Samsung shipped the first consumer units of its Galaxy Tab 10.1 (you can find our review here), the Android 3.1 update that first struck Motorola's Xoom is now gracing the Limited Edition models that were handed out at Google I/O 2011.
Engadget - That Toshiba Thrive tablet that surfaced on J&R's site last month? Turns out, someone got a little excited -- the company just confirmed the listing went up prematurely and that the price was wrong. But, we just got word that the Thrive will indeed debut as Toshiba's first tablet for the US market, with pre-orders beginning June 13th at Best Buy, along with the usual "office superstores" and "e-commerce players," and a mid-July ship date (we're hearing the 10th).
Great, I like this, they are upgrading. Now all I have to do is buy one of these
True true... now I'm went from 95% sure I was gonna buy this to 100%

Man.. None of the Best Buy stores (or other retailers for that matter) close to my house have the eee Pad on display. I want to check it out and make sure that I like it before buying it. I checked out the Iconia, but hey if I can save $50 for a very similar product then why not!?!?
