CPCC pushing for copyright tax on Memory Cards

The Canadian Private Copying Collective (CPCC) is back at it again, this time trying to get a copyright tax added to memory cards, on the grounds that these memory cards are used for the purpose of copying and transporting music.

Yeah, I put music on my SD card. To listen to on my other MP3 player, when my iPhone is low on juice. WTF Canada.

LOL less than 1 gig 50 cents 1 to 8 $1 8 and more $3 portable. HDD are next if this goes through since you can put "music" files in those too .
