iPhone 5 prototypes spotted: metal back, larger display, iPhone 4 shape?

9to5Mac: A source from Foxconn who we believe to be reliable has provided us with some information about Apple’s fifth-generation iPhone. Most of the information lines up with past reports but we have also learned a few new details. Most notably is that the iPhone 5 has already been seen at Foxconn and is soon going into the normal mass production stages. In terms of design, the iPhone 5 is said to look fairly similar to the iPhone 4 except for two very important differences: materials and screen size.

So what. I am still happy with my iphone 4.

Then you will have no interest in the iPhone 5. Simple.
But there are still people out there who do not yet own an iPhone, so to them this is of interest.

I wanted to wait for the Iphone 5 but I needed an upgrade and got the 4. Will be taking good care of it and selling it for the 5 as soon as it launches. Plus the new ATT 4g network will finally come out.

should this not be expected everyone knows that a new 1 will come out every year with minimal upgrades and specs.

It is all about money, our money. They tell us that new model is extremely better, but it isn't. Only few new features and slightly improved specs and design...

fatstarr4785d ago

lol im surprised they didn't just do the I phone 4G yet.

Biggest question of all: Will it support 4G on Verizon... otherwise...

If it packs the new A5 chip and it is carrier free then I'm sold. A5 chip means half the power of NGP!!! bodacious
