HEXUS: Enermax told us it'd be bringing out its PSU big guns at this year's CeBIT, and the early signs suggest that it won't disappoint.
Browsing the show floor a day before the doors officially open, we stumbled upon this; the EEX 900. Positioned as the centrepiece to Enermax's surprisingly-large booth, the EEX 900 is the manufacturer's first power supply to be accredited with 80 PLUS Platinum certification.
Maximum PC: Ever tried building a quiet PC? It's not overly complicated, you just need to select the right components. That includes the power supply, and one way to go when selecting a PSU for a quiet or silent build is with a fanless design. That's exactly what Enermax had on display at Computex.
eXtremespec - Enermax release new fans Twister Pressure with the size 120 x 120 x 25 mm (model code - UCTP12P). Propeller can operate in a wide range of speeds at ambient temperature is 85 °C.
Maximum PC: Intel's Haswell refresh is coming, and when it does, it will deliver better performance, much improved integrated graphics, and superior power efficiency that, according to Enermax, only a handful of power supplies are able to take advantage of. Enermax is referring to the new C6 and C7 states that are able to reduce CPU power consumption to a mere 0.05A. Some Ivy Bridge chips draw up to ten times more in a minimum power state.
