There was a rumors showed that dual-core processor is necessary for Android 3.0 Honeycomb software. But now we can take a breath because these rumors named as false by Google.
GYGG: "With Apple’s iPad currently taking up majority of the tablet market share, and the Motorola Xoom failure due to pricing issues, consumers are still eagerly awaiting a top notch tablet that can compete with the iPad on price terms. Well, there may not be much more of a wait as Best Buy has officially announced that availability of a Toshiba Honeycomb based tablet that will be coming soon."
Ali Waqas: No joking people! Android 3.0 Honeycomb now stands “ported” on HTC Magic and G1 with all thanks going to some industrious hackers at XDA.
Engadget: A funny thing happened after Google posted (and subsequently pulled) its Android 3.0 Honeycomb video: T-Mobile celebrated its G-Slate announcement by posting the same video. And about six more after that (to be fair, they're also on the Motorola / Verizon Xoom we demoed).
