MS quadrupling Kinect accuracy

Interesting article. One thing in particular caught my attention.

"Additionally, processing four times as many depth pixels could slow things down more."

You see...If you gain the accuracy to actually pick up the finger movements and wrist movements...but at the cost of even MORE laggy game play...I can't imagine it would be worth it. More accuracy in one degree at the cost of another? No. I'm excited to see what the tech will be on the xbox 720, not whats out on the 360 now.

I developed a connector for kinect. It is much easier now to develop these kind of applications.
Kinect -> USB connector. As small as can be. From one side you connect the Kinect plug, from the other a common USB cable (or you connect it directly to the PC USB port). You connect a 12V (1Amp) AC/DC adapter to the power socket, and you're done.
