Pocket-Lint: To say that Fusion Garage's JooJoo tablet has endured a turbulent little life would be an understatement.
Born out of the CrunchPad fiasco, the JooJoo was the subject of a Federal court case and was released to luke warm interest (rumours of just a handful of pre-orders persist), behind schedule and over budget.
BGR: First it was called the CrunchPad, then it was called joojoo… now it’s just called dead. Fusion Garage founder Chandrashekar Rathakrishnan confirmed to e27 on Thursday that the company’s virgin tablet offering has been discontinued.
Remember the JooJoo tablet and the scandal around it and Michael Arrington? It seems Fushion Garage is well and fine, whilst the lawsuit is developing and is already preparing JooJoo 2 tablet for early 2011.
gizmodo.com: Everybody's talking about tablets, especially those single-pane capacitive touchscreen ones more specifically known as "slates." The iPad is the biggest newsmaker, but there are lots headed our way.
