Windows Phone 7 – The Handheld Xbox

The operating system (OS) is presented quite differently to anything else currently on the market, but is fairly intuitive and, after only a short while spent using the system, most will find the customization features allow the desktop to be arranged exactly to their liking. As with most recent smartphones, Windows Phone 7 attempts to make everything accessible via the same simple commands – touch and swipe. It is of course successful for the vast majority of applications and software, and yet the Windows button taking users immediately back to the dashboard – without closing the currently application – will be a godsend for those who like to multitask.
