Logitech K750 Solar-Powered Keyboard Announced

Today, Logitech introduced the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 - the company's first light-powered keyboard. The Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard powers itself whenever there's light, even indoors, making battery hassles a thing of the past.

"The keyboard is still the best input device for typing emails and IMs, updating your Facebook page or posting responses to your favorite blogs - and the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 is the next big innovation in keyboard technology," said Denis Pavillard, vice president of product marketing for Logitech's keyboards and desktops. "The Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard is powered by light but can work in total darkness for up to three months. Plus, with its PVC-free construction and fully recyclable packaging, it's designed to minimize its footprint."

Would love to see a review of this soon, not just for the solar power aspect, but also for the design itself; looks rather nice, i say.

Logitech makes some of the best keyboards in the business. Great ergonomics and looks. Solar powered is a little different since people will probably be using these inside.. lol.

something good for environment :D
they should use this technology in other gadgets as well. it would be handy to have solar panel in your mobile device.

I'd really prefer large leaps in solar panel technology considering I live in Phoenix, AZ and have 364.5 days of sunshine a year and yet Solar Technology is still not widely used. But if a keyboard is as good as it gets I'll take it I guess =/

Yeah, I'd rather see my whole house running on solar power than just a keyboard :/

But must say that that keyboard looks really neat :)

Good for the environment, and means I don't need to change batteries
