Chipzilla attributes the surplus to three percent increases in laptop and server chips sales respectively, but none to Atom-based netbooks -- sales of Atom chips actually decreased by four percent."
Last Friday, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger told CNBC he thinks the chip shortage will last into 2024.

AMD has a larger market cap than Intel for the first time in history. Since its initial Zen architecture in 2017, AMD's fortunes have improved dramatically.
Yet they still charge redicolous ammounts for their CPU's with unlocked multipliers. No wonder they made so much money.
