Pocket-Lint: The BlackBerry Curve 3G (or 9300) is the newest handset from RIM, pitched at the entry-level, as confirmed by Mike Lazaridis, CEO: "The majority of people in the worldwide mobile phone market have yet to buy their first smartphone and the BlackBerry Curve 3G is designed to provide an extremely attractive and accessible choice that will help convince many of them to make the leap".
Pocket-Lint: You may have seen the pink BlackBerry Curve 3G recently on Pocket-lint, that Research in Motion has released in time for Valentine's day, but thought that your lady was perhaps a bit too classy to be packing a pink phone.
Pocket-Lint: Not content with rubbing Apple's nose in it by releasing a couple of white handset variations, Research in Motion has now also come to the table with another coloured device - a pink version of the BlackBerry Curve 3G.
Engadget: We would've never figured on Verizon carrying over the "Curve 3G" name from this phone's GSM counterpart, considering all of its older Curve models have already had EV-DO -- but branding consistency trumps logic in this case, we suppose.
