Motorola working on Android TV tablet

The 10in tablet, which could be launched in the autumn, will run Google's Android OS and is expected to offer access to FiOS – the paid-for digital TV service from US mobile network Verizon.

According to the Financial Times, by working with Verizon Wireless, which owns a 25 percent share of the US television market and a 29 percent share of broadband customers, Motorola will avoid upsetting pay TV providers.

The story is too old to be commented.
