Forbes writes: "I recently visited my brother Dave and his family in Madagascar. We went to the Andasibe park to see the indri (the largest species of lemur) and met an excellent guide named Jose. When Dave asked how he could get in touch with him on future visits, Jose said that he didn't have a phone.
I was disappointed to hear this. Jose's answer seemed to indicate a lack of progress on bringing the benefits of information and communications technology (ICT) to the people of the developing world. I started to think that little had changed in the country since I'd last been there in 2006, when few people in Madagascar had cellphones."
