Verizon CEO: Component shortages hampering supply of HTC Incredible

Fierce Wireless: "At a Barclays Capital Global Communications, Media & Technology conference in New York today, Verizon Wireless (NYSE:VZ) CEO Lowell McAdam said that demand for the HTC Droid Incredible has been better than expected, and that the company is having a difficult time keeping the smartphone in stock. McAdam said the delay is due to HTC's component shortages, specifically with the phone's seven-panel home screen made by Samsung. He added that Samsung has ramped up production, and Verizon expects to be able to meet demand for the smartphone within the next 30 to 60 days."
