Tech Crunch writes: "It’s hard to believe, but it’s been five years since YouTube launched and changed the way people share video online (it was acquired by Google a year and a half later). To celebrate its birthday, YouTube has just announced a major new milestone: it’s streaming a whopping two billion views per day (the company notes that this is “nearly double the prime-time audience of all three major US television networks combined”)."
According to Bloomberg, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan has expressed concern regarding the potential misuse of platform content by OpenAI’s Sora, an AI-driven video creation tool.
Shaz from TL writes: “Linus Sebastian’s media company, Linus Media Group, is under fire. From ethical concerns with videos, to allegations of workplace harassment.”
If you need (or prefer) to read video content on YouTube, you have options.
it could be so much better. i was on youtube since 2006 early it was slow and had loading problems and freezing videos. its a shame lady gaga is the most watched video like really... Hope Google doesn't believe the hype about youtube not being able to sustain its self or anything because if youtube disappeared there would be a world wide revolt or something.
