Sony is sidestepin E3 so they can 1up whatever specs Microsoft announce at E3.

if that's correct so be it. Navi though has no new features from Vega and the top tier version is $700. chances are the consoles will have midrange Navi GPUs making them ".5 times" stronger than Scorpio. enough power to achieve current gen at native 4k 60fps, with some extra detail.

50% better gpu isn't so bad. It will be 7 nm so its performance can probably be increased since it uses so much less power than previous ones. Also the cpu will be way faster than the jaguar designs used in current consoles.

It's pretty likely that they will be aiming for 8-13 Tflops. 6 Tflops will be too low. Anything above 12 is going to be blazing hot as well. Look at the current Vega GPUs. Scale that back a little bit for heat concerns. Every year they can drop the TDP down up until production. They should have some samples ready and running, but not likely final yet.

I hope these consoles are freesync enabled like the Xbox one x. Would be awesome to pair with those new freesync TV's
