Did you even read the article? They are talking total iPhone sales, only the x is $1000... which is very close to the price of its competitor note 8.

Well, the iPhone isn’t the innovative product it once was. Even their computers are lacking

It’s still by far the fastest and best developer supported device. Not to mention they sold almost 78 million iPhones in the quarter, a small dip of 1% from last year but hardly anything to worry about. I keep feeling like I’m reading comments spoon fed from Samsung when reading articles about Apple products.
