Apple looking at iPhone X pre-orders, slows down component delivery

Apple’s iPhone X was one of the most awaited smartphones of this year. Many people expected it to be the best-selling handset of 2017, however, it seems they might have been wrong. Instead of stepping up and manufacturing more handsets, Apple actually seems to slow down a little bit.

It's not about the price tag as many presume. People ain't gonna trip over a less than 20% hike in price. It's the fact that Apple is making essentially two phones with severa skus and releasing them in the same two month window.

I do think this time round Apple have lost their buzz. The iPhone 8 had no queues in the UK and I don't know one person looking at getting the X

Tbf, I am genuinely surprised, it's apple after all, you'd half expect their fanbase beating down the door over a polished turd if it had the apple logo printed on it.

Well Samsung launched the S8 which shares so much with the X and it's design ques (and we'll the same exact screen) and is offering it much cheaper. The standard users are probably thinking twice about switching.

Personally I still prefer a cleaner Android but I can understand the love the S8 gets
