Damn it all....it's basically water under the bridge. They should be fined the amount of profit they made from the start of this campaign up to the date of their admission for this travesty. That should be a knock on the knuckle to make sure they don't ever do it again.

Considering I am beginning to ass ADVERTISEMENTS from Windows 10 on my tablet in the notifications center. There are other issues to address. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

The underlying flaw is that after WinXP Microsoft has taken the stance that they know better than their technically aware userbase and has opted for a policy of forced upgrade paths. Just stupid things like hiding themes, removing audio paths, trying to kill off opengl, blocking Directx upgrades etc etc etc, the list is huge.
