The latest update to Google Maps provides users a functionality using which they can add little icons to their places like towering skyscrapper for work, log cabins for home. Once the place is customized by the user, these icons will be visible on the map whenever try to launch the Google Maps application.
These features are currently available or coming to your Android or iOS device in the next few weeks.
