I have reviewed a ton of SoundBot products over these past few weeks, all of the products I have reviewed have been good, but not what I would call perfect. There always seems to be just that small, tiny detail they missed. Rather that be a problem with the treble response or the lack of carrying case SoundBot just seems to make great stuff that is also often prone to having a few weaknesses. Have SoundBot finally learned from past mistakes with the SoundBot II? Let’s dig in and see what I have uncovered after two weeks with this speaker.

'Water and Bluetooth Speakers; this statement is enough to make just about any techie cringe. Often times, I leave my audio equipment at home if I plan to do any sort of activity that comes close to water. I just cannot chance anything happening to my precious speakers when out at the beach, so often times I am left without music. There are many speakers out there that claim to be waterproof, and they are of course. However, SoundBot turns this idea up on its head with the SoundBot SB512, this small but surprisingly loud speaker is IPX4 water Resistant, and get this; it’s only a teeny $12 at Amazon. This price alone makes me feel much more confident, and I have no trouble taking the SB 512 just about anywhere I want. SoundBot has made a ton of great stuff lately, so let’s go over what is so great about the little speaker and what you should look out for before buying."

"Music and Beanies often do not work well together, either you need a beanie to keep warm, making no room for your headphones or you just cannot live without your music and would rather suffer through the blistering cold on those winter nights. With audio enthusiasts such as myself, we always seem to choose the latter suffering the flu before we would give up listening to our music. SoundBot aims to help us audiophiles with this small, simple, yet intuitive design that is sure to be on any music lover’s Christmas list."
Quality and budget friendly do not go together well very often, either you need to pick one or the other if you want to buy the best product for what you can afford, Soundbot is here to change this way of thinking with the new Soundbot II. Currently on Kickstarter, the Soundbot 2 includes features that is to be expected from speakers that cost twice as much as the Soundbot II.
