Fitbit, best know for its family of simple activity trackers, isn't shrinking from the competitive threat posed by more decorative and multi-function smartwatches, namely, the Apple Watch and Android Wear devices. Instead, Fitbit is meeting the challenge head-on: the San Francisco-based company launched the new Fitbit Blaze smartwatch at CES 2016, the annual consumer electronics show in Las Vegas.
