Facebook's campaign to expand itself to as many fields as possible gets a new leg, a Craigslist-like shopping feature. With a silent test run this feature has received a mixed bag of reactions. How things fold out, for a social network giant, in eCommerce will be an interesting set of events.
Messenger will return the Facebook mobile app thanks to Meta.
Now you can get happy birthday messages on your actual birthday instead of some random day.
Facebook Shops will give a unified shopping experience across Facebook and Instagram, with plans for Messenger and WhatsApp, as well.
That will be a very tough competition for other E-Commerce Giants like E-Bay etc.
As long as they keep them severely separated and don't try to shove the shopping features down my throat, I will give it a try.
