Yamaha’s new humanoid robot, Motobot, just learned to ride a motorbike and already it’s talking trash. At the recent Tokyo Motor Show where Motobot was unveiled, it announced that the reason it was created was to simply “surpass you.” Presumably, that means piloting a 1000cc Yamaha R1M around a racetrack at over 200kmph, and beating MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi.

The Man Cave Cinema: Ever since the advent of automatic surround sound calibration in audio/video receivers (AVR), why do people still go back and manually check everything? Don't we trust it? Do we think we can do a better job?
With the likes of Audyssey, Yamaha's YPAO and Pioneer's MCACC to name of few auto calibration systems, why do we still go back to a tape measure and a sound meter?
And one day they will be the death of us....
