What Oppo R7 and Huawei Honor 7 have in common

Recently released Huawei Honor 7's features, specs and design resembles with ‪‎Oppo‬ R7. It is too identical that ‪‎Huawei‬ have acquiesced of stealing the tech as well as design from Oppo.

Simply put in proper words: Honor 7's design seems to be inspired by Oppo R7. But, is it?

Honor 7 is good, but what I hear is their camera software is pretty bad, and not well optimized for 20MP rear sensor. Front selfie camera works great, but they need to fix the camera software, or you can simply download some third party app.

I tried to adjust camera for better low light pictures but it,s hard to do ,change iso more something ... an then if you closed camera and next time when you open all adjustments is gone, automatic mode should be more sensitive for low light pictures ,I believe they can make better software for 20 mp camera ,this one is terrible :(

I own Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus and Honor 4X from them. So, I of all people know that Huawei is very bad when it comes to the software upgrade. All their previous models are still stuck at Kitkat.

I guess if you have a budget of 30k wait for moto x style, or nexus 6P.

Just because Oppo R7 was released earlier than Honor7, it doesn't mean they simply copied them. Most of the Chinese companies rip off other brands anyways, that includes Oppo.

Yes, you're right. but again they're both competitors.

I personally own Honor 6 Plus, which costs 15% more than Honor 7. I don't have any clue why they still have the same price tag. Conventionally, either Honor 7 should cost more than Honor 6 Plus, or Honor 6 Plus Price should have been dropped by now, but this is not the case.

Huawei is very bad at software upgrades. Honor 6 Plus is still stuck at Kitkat 4.4.2. Almost, all Chinese brands fail to provide OS upgrade because of heavily Customized code and theme. OnePlus is the exception.
