In June 2013, a group of friends launched a weather balloon a few kilometres from Tuba City, Arizona, US.
They attached cameras and filmed the journey as the balloon rose 30 km towards the edge of space.
But then they lost track of their equipment.
Two years later, hiker Pearl Tsosie found the kit, which had crash-landed back to Earth.
This is the amazing footage they shot, using two high frame-rate commercial cameras, a Sony HD camcorder, a GoPro Hero3 and a prototype Samsung phone from Broadcom.
