This New Drawing Tool Can Turn Sketches Into 3D Images

Mental Canvas is a new technology that reimagines static images in a whole new dimension: 3D. X-ray eyes in the sky: New method for 3-D through-wall imaging that utilizes drones and WiFi

Researchers at UC Santa Barbara professor Yasamin Mostofi's lab have given the first demonstration of three-dimensional imaging of objects through walls using ordinary wireless signal. The technique, which involves two drones working in tandem, could have a variety of applications, such as emergency search-and-rescue, archaeological discovery and structural monitoring.

Razer and Intel Collaborate on RealSense 3D Camera for Gaming

Maximum PC: Razer has partnered up with Intel to incorporate the chip maker's RealSense technology into a 3D-sensing camera designed for consumer-based VR and gaming desktops. The two companies brought a prototype of the new camera to the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) that's taking place in San Francisco. One of the key features is automatic background removal. This will allow game streamers and video conferencing users to remove or even replace backgrounds as they see fit.
