More Layoffs Rock BlackBerry, Wants Profitability In Restructuring Plan

BlackBerry is restructuring, this involves plans for the Canadian company to return to profitability. To achieve this, one of the plans is cut jobs globally which will reduce its overhead cost.

In August 2013, BlackBerry wanted to put itself for sale. The deal didn’t go through, which compelled the company to look-in-ward with the aim of restructuring.

I really hope they can get back to profitability, BlackBerry has really elvolved over the last few years. The OS is getting better with every update.

Facebook and BlackBerry are heading to court over voice messaging patents

There’s a new battle commencing between Facebook and BlackBerry. On Tuesday, the social network sued the phone maker over alleged infringement of six patents. Of these, one is related to a voice message feature in BBM Enterprise.
