Samsung’s flagship Galaxy handset is synonymous with Android. Ever since the first iteration it has been the iPhone’s biggest competitor in the premium smartphone stakes. As the years rolled by and a new model was released each year I begun to feel disenchanted with Samsung. They seemed too happy to play it safe, taking an iterative rather than innovative approach. This year however, that all changed. Featuring a complete redesign that replaced plastic with metal and less bloatware, the Galaxy S6 is the most significant step forward that the Galaxy has ever received.
