I'm not really fond of integrated stuff, if you buy a wireless charger by itself and it breaks it's no big deal, if you buy a piece of furniture with it built in and it breaks, then what? It's too much of a hassle.

Well if it cost same as regular furniture then no complaints from me!

This is why the world is not as cool as it could be.

The masses says don't support cool things.

But apple watches and iphones makes heads spin.

As a scifi lover I hope this will be everywhere!

If I take a cab i'll just rest my phone on the seat to charge it. Lol

I wouldn't mind being able to change my phone anywhere.

Walk into a restaurant and let my phone charge on the table next to my steak.

Now we just need wifi everywhere.
25gb/s minimum.

All in my head.

Please lord let hololens and steam vr succeed.

The components are designed to be easily replaceable. You can see that in many of the pictures.

On a side note, I'd like to see some improvements in the tech before I invest. Currently it is a slow and hot means to charge a device.

Everything will need charging by 2018, humans as well.

Apple Team Up With IKEA To Create AR Shopping App

Apple users will soon be able to see what furniture from IKEA fits their home using augmented reality.

They just about need this with the nightmare shop layouts, the one here, you legit have to go through the WHOLE bloody store in a single path to get anywhere.

But instead of fixing the terrible layout, so people can actually navigate by themselves they instead decide to design an app so you can find your way around...

Such a disgusting place.

"Such a disgusting place."

Ikea or Apple? ;P

Lionsguard2491d ago (Edited 2491d ago )

First of all, getting lost inside an IKEA is part of the fun. Secondly, this app doesn't help you navigate the store. It overlays furniture inside your room so you can see what it looks like before you buy.
