GTA V Max Settings Gaming PC Build for $1086

GamersNexus: "This system opted for use of an AMD 290X given its positioning as a cost-effective alternative to the similarly-priced GTX 970. With the looming launch of Grand Theft Auto V, we built the system with the intention of running the game at ultra graphics settings, hopefully allowing some headroom for graphics mods in the future. This gaming PC will handle GTA V without issue."

The game hasn't been released yet......

The spec requirements however has been release.

Often they don't really mean anything tbh. You can't gauge fps and resolution from the minimum and recommended specs.

cutting it on the ram i recommend at least 16gb in today's builds on a PC.

Stringerbell3301d ago

Yeah 16 should future proof you for quite some time. 8 is the bare minimum these days.

What PC fans said before "Im not gonna spend $400 on a console just for ______"

Seeing this happen.. XD

Well we're talking max settings here. I know people do it but I'm not going out to buy a new PC just to play one game if you know what I mean. I have a relatively old Alienware 14 and I play games like Far Cry 4 on medium settings.

Not the best experience imo, I dont wanna have a game lag or anything, I want the best experience that last enough to justify the price of a pc part. Same thing translate to consoles.

PS2 was woth it, GBA was worth it,psp, n64, ps3, ps4 worth it. Only thing that I feel like I wasted money on was the DS and gamecube (to me)

Cool thing when you have both tho is you can just get the console edition if your pc is gonna act a fool with a new game (if theres a console version)

I have a ps4 and an xb1....
And I've been disappointed to say the least that games can't be run at 1080p 60fps.... I see myself getting a Steam Machine by next holiday season...

The Alienware Alpha is off to a good start of what I want... But by next year, I'm sure I'll have much more options.
