Until around 1900, wristwatches were most popular among women. Men preferred pocket watches. That changed when time-keeping technology improved. Male consumers gradually saw how much quicker it was to glance at their wrists, rather than reach into their pockets, to check the time. Apple made a similar pitch on March 9th at an event in San Francisco heralding the launch of its newest product, the Apple Watch.
Vision Pro is here and it’s a surprisingly capable device. Apple has also loaded the headset with a ton of options and features that aren’t obvious at first glance.
Ringing the changes: All the news, rumors, and tips you missed last week.
Apple is anticipated to announce the new OLED iPad Pro this spring. Although there has been considerable speculation about the product, it’s always reassuring when Apple officially confirms certain features through upcoming software updates.
I've fixed the images on some of these past submissions of yours. Please in the future make sure the image isn't broken on submission.( I always found it best to download/upload it to be honest. )
They want too much for a watch that's only compatible with iPhones too much for any watch.
Apples business model
what are top of the range PCs, mobile phones, mp3 players and watches selling for? great, lets make one, stick Apple logo on it, and charge double the price and advertise it like its the best thing theyll ever own (until we make the next one a year later that is). if its expensive, its exclusive. and for those that say its not all that, people we conned will defend their purchase and in turn defend us.
It's because Apple products also carry this aura of "status symbol" around them. They always have. What more of a status symbol can you have than a $17,000 watch that only works with a single make of phone?
The only thing I give Apple on some accounts is that they have been pretty good with the "it just works" thing. I've been happy with my iPhone, iPad and iMac and have had very little issue if any with all of them. There is something to be said that I can have my iPad fully charged and in sleep mode for days only to pick it up and see that it only dropped a couple percent - I cannot say that of many of my other rechargeable devices.
I'm personally going to "weather the storm" and hold out for a 3rd or 4th gen Watch to see if (1) it really does become successful, (2) prices become more reasonable, and (3) it has better functionality and battery life.
